Rainier & Swingline Shades
The Rainier and Swingline are spring-loaded, manually operated, exterior sunshades that are simple, rugged and economical. Operated by simply pulling down and attaching to a set of hooks at the base of the window. The strong upwards pull of the internal spring will keep them secure from wind.
- Rainier shades: The hood (shade box) is 4 ½” square to accommodate larger shades and heavier fabrics. With the same hood as our Olympus/Cascadia shades, it coordinates in appearance with those systems. Can be corded for remote operation from the ground, porch or balcony. Maximum size 9’ wide x 10’ high.
- Swingline shades: with attractive, slim 3” hood, they are primarily used as a low profile mount on swing doors. Can also be mounted directly on outswing windows or on any window that does not exceed 8’ wide x 7’ high.
- Exterior Rollease shades: Raised and lowered with a convenient bead-chain loop – like an interior shade but with all hardware in exterior grade. Heavy aluminum bottom rail and bungee cord hold downs are standard. Options include an aluminum rain hood or side cable hold downs which eliminate the need for bungee cords in breezy weather.
