Side Channeled Cascadia Exterior Sunshades
Comes with integrated aluminum side channel, bottom-rail and hood. The side channel
locks in the heavy bottom rail, imparting excellent wind resistance. Motorized roller
shade is mounted on the outside of the house and can be operated with either
a switch or by remote control. This system can be easily incorporated into a home
automation system or controlled by a timer or sun and wind sensor.
Cable-guided Olympus Exterior Sunshades
Uses tensioned stainless cable on each side of the shade to lock in the bottom
rail. A metal hood covers the shade roll and control mechanism. The system can be adated for
use with built-in head pockets and custom wood valances. The control options and sizing
capabilities are identical to the side channeled system. Because slim guide wires
disappear at a distance, this system has a very low impact on the exterior of the building.
