Rigid-hem Angletop roller shades (style A and B) Are mounted on a 1"-11/2" roller tube with a constant tension spring. They roll up from the bottom and are raised and lowered by 2mm nylon cords running through a hollow 11/4" square hembar sewn into the hem. The hembar has nylon pulleys inserted into each end for the cord to run through ensuring smooth even operation. The excess cord created when the shades are out is cleated off to the side. Cleat choices include 4" aluminum , 3" clear plastic or 3" brass. Soft-Hem Angletop roller shades (style C) Also mounted on a 1"-11/2" roller tube with a constant tension spring. They also roll up from the bottom. However, they are raised and lowered by a series of 1.4mm nylon cords attached at 6"-8" intervals accross the top hem. The soft hemmed shades are fully retractabe due to the ability of the soft hemmed angled edge to wrap (along with the cords) around the roller tube. The excess cord created when the shades are out is cleated off to the side. Cleat choices also include 4" aluminum , 3" clear plastic or 3" brass. |
